my psu (hk brand GTR) generates the most noise in my pc and i reckon im able to remove the fangrill off the 120mm fan, is this a good idea or would it affect anything? for me fangrills just add noise to the fans(like a buzzing noise).

but instead of the 2 80mm fans it was a 120mm fan at the top and the back(Where the switch and fan control) is a black metal grill

It won't effect anything as long as you don't stick your fingers in there.
