Just fine get the XL. I am 6'0 175lbs they fit me just fine.

I disagree - I'm 5'11" and 165lbs, which is closer to his size and have the polo in L.

I think an XL would be too large.

I don't find the XL much larger then the large itself. Just depends if you want it loose or not but either one would be fine.

Bosco is probably just built differently, broader shoulders, bigger biceps etc but still maintaining the same overall proportions.

Agreed, but he said he's "slim", so that's why I think L is probably better than XL, but yeah, either is probably fine....I wear both sizes.
