OCC Review: Belkin N1 Wireless Router, Desktop, Notebook, and USB Cards

When I was asked to review the full slate of N1 MIMO products from Belkin, I was excited. First, because my wireless setup was admittedly getting a little old, but second, because I had heard good things about Belkin, and felt that this would be a major upgrade for my system in a number of areas. This review had me happy with some features to begin with, but as I went on, I was reminded of something my parents said to me when I was a kid and had failed a test: “We aren’t mad at you, but we sure are disappointed.” Boy, does that hurt.

Draft n tech sounds so promising that it must indeed be very disappointing if you can't experience the benefits because a product has these kind of issues.

Including software that is known not to work is an error that should be easily avoided.

yeah, i agree if you release a product make sure it works properly (that includes software)

that said i have draft n at home from linksys and have had no problems with it.

I have yet to get my desktop card working properly because of the same type of issues and its been almost a year now

My last wireless router was a Belkin and I had nothing but problems with the connection dropping out all the time.

I went to my local PC parts store and bought the cheapest one they had and I have never looked back. It works perfectly.
