I am a Newb when it comes to AMDs, realtively speaking.
ON computer game boxes, and other game and program requirements it will state the Intel requirements, sometimes it will mention "or AMD equivelent". AMD does have 2.4 MGHz and all that jazz and Intel goes into the upper 3s, however AMD is more efficent and wins Intel. How do you know if your AMD meets are beats the requirements for a game? Is there a list to compare them, or do i have to constantly look up benchmark tests and see how it goes? Thanks for you help. |

The way AMDs are rated are equivilant to the Intel at that speed. ex.3500+ = 3.5ghz Intel.

The amd rating system (PR) is based off the original t-bred a core

no no, that was for the socket A line of chips. the new A64's are based off thier intel counterpart.
