I prefer Maxtors. I have 2 80GBs, 1 300GB and 1 WD 200GB. I've had the 80GBs for two years now and I haven't had any problems with them.

Seagate. All of my drives that I've had for long periods of time have been seagate. 4 x 7200.7's, 4 x cheetah 10K's, 2 x barracuda 7200 SCSI.
Best thing about them is they are dang near silent! I've also had a 2 WD caviar's and they were great too -------------------- P5Q-Deluxe:Q6600@3400:8GB OCZ 8500:1TB WD Black:Thermaltake W/C:Corsair 850watt PSU:9800GX2:Thermaltake Kandalf LCS: Vista Ultimate X64
