In the words of Aisha Tyler, I think BP has girlwood for anything CM.

I typically love CM products, but these just look cheap and ugly. I don't know if BP is looking at it through jaded eyes or simply has a different sense of what quality looks like, but how can she LIKE those two screws on the ear cups?! That looks incredibly cheap. What next, duct tape?

And while a detachable cable is nice if you're going to throw them in your bag, I think the detachable mic is pointless, as mine just swivels out of the way and looks way better. Maybe if the mic connection sat flush against the cup, but it doesn't, it sticks out. Again, just a cheap look to it and not something I'd expect of a high quality product.

In the words of me...you don't understand women.

Amanda is merciless when she doesn't like something. CM just has a habit of releasing very good stuff.

The detachable mic and cable are something I see as a huge plus too - it lets you use them on airplanes or something similar without looking like a total dork. :P

As for the bolts - she didn't say she liked them. She said she liked that they came apart easily. I think they look great too and they are built quite well.

Like I said, the detachable mic would be fine if it was flush against it, but the way they have it, sticking out, makes it look cheap.

If they're not going to design it to sit flush, then I'd much rather have a retractable mic or one that swings out of the way to sit against the pipes, like these:

I'm not saying those headsets are better, just the way they handle the mics.

I mean come on, you don't think this looks like crap??

FYI the review had to be taken down. It seems that CM changed the launch date too July 30th but forgot to tell all of us :( I will post it this thread when it goes back up.

They don't look bad. I'm just not a fan of the square look but the as long as they sound and fit good on my melon than who cares. I cant see myself when Im looking at a screen.

The look doesn't bother me, I am just happy to see that mics can be removed.
