Bargain basement price of $70 for aus haha although in some awesome news Microsoft, Apple and Adobe are being summoned to court over high product prices. Finally the australian government is stepping in and hopefully that'll extend to games soon as well especially in this day and age of digital downloads. Seem ridiculous when the dollar is on parity to par 2 to 4x as much for the same downloaded product. Or in Apple and now Microsoft's cases to pay so much more for hardware and software.

Back on topic $12 still isn't enough to tempt me to Origin but I sadly think Crysis will be....

Man these spammers are geniuses...put (NO SPAM) in the thread title to hide the spam.  It's brilliant.  Hopefully this doesn't catch on...what if rapists wear signs that say (NOT A RAPIST)?  They will be raping everybody! D:

Ya I don't love origin so much but come on it's freaking battlefield.

EA needs to listen a bit more to what the gamers want. I think they are definitely pushing it as to how much we will tolerate just to play battlefield.  I hope they come around come BF4 time because I would hate to boycott my favorite series.  Seriously this premium nonsense is garbage. You buy a game and then the only way to keep up with what you paid for is to pay a premium tax.

And lets not even get started on voip...

End rant.

I've played 157 hours of BF3, and not once have I even touched Origin. It's all through Battlelog which is actually a pretty slick, well designed system.

BF3 is too much fun NOT to buy @ $12

How do you download and update the game?

It updates on its own just like steam. All automatic. I clicked download the first day I bought the game, that's once, big deal I know.
