A little bit more costly than we could have anticipated. Other than price, it is a good drive.

...say frank, as i was looking over all the stats and testing for the review, (another excellent review by the way) i couldn't help but notice that the new vector isn't very far ahead of the vertex 4, in many areas, and then the cpu usage "PHEW" wow, ....so what would you say is best (shining points) about the vector ? what benefits would you say i would gain by going vector ?

If you have a Vertex 4 you probably wouldn't see much difference with a lightly faster drive IMO.
yea, that's kinda what i was thinking too,..i was thinking "what if i get a single fast 256 for a C: drive for windows, then the twin raided vertex4's that are currently my C: could be transformed into the "steam/origin drive", and then i could lose one of the wd vr's for another build...i know you get it waco, a minor storage reconfig...but if the cpu usage is doubled on the main C: then most of the benefit of going to a single ssd C: is lost,.. or so it seems to me...
