You could buy some after market heatsinks for the vrm's and try not to over volt when you oc, but the power phase on that mb is really meant to be run at stock clocks.

Do actually need to do the overclock process? I thought I will only get stuck on the unlocking thing. I have little to very little idea  to overclocking.

I won't be pushing the aforementioned Biostar A780L  for unlocking anymore

What about this instead? A biostar A780L3G but it seems to be a lot better than the previous one And now it really states AM3 socket

that board is a little better but still doesn't have a great power phase ,also it is ddr3 memory so you would also have to buy new memory sticks.

It seems like after all of the effort searching and asking recommendations for upgrading will end up buying a whole new desktop PC... Anyways, I want to thank you all for giving time on replying to this topic.
