The Carbide 500R is possibly one of the best mid-high range cases available, it looks good, has good airflow, and has plenty of space for components and cable management.

As El_Capitan said, yes!

At the $120 price point there is some solid competition and it stands out, great case.

In November 7th 2012, they had a sale:

11-139-009 CASE CORSAIR | CARBIDE 500R BK R

$109.99

COM DISCOUNT FOR AUTOADD #58673

($20.99)

COM DISCOUNT FOR PROMOTION CODE

($11.00)

Making it $78 shipped. It also had a $30 MIR (which I got 2 weeks later). For a $48 case, it's superb. :P

Yes, it is a  very good chassis at its price.

And it can accommodate 7970, easily. :)
