Anyone know of a reputable online dealer where I could find t-ring adapters for my PS FZ40?  I need a t-ring adapter / eye piece combo so I can pull my old dusty Bausch telescope from the corner of the garage and get some astronomy photos to share with the kids.

I bought my T-ring for my Orion Dob and Nikon Camera from Amazon.com

Another website would be telescopes.com

Don't know if you like Star shots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/psywar/

I have taken a few. I mostly like star trails though.

I have not done any photo's on my Orion Dob though it is on a wood mount and I cannot track the stars on it.

I mostly use it to take video of the Moon and what not.

Oh snap... what is supposed to go here?

Nice shots.

Did you buy a universal T-Ring or one specifically for your camera?

yuppers I did.

http://www.amazon.co...apter for nikon'

I have the Opteka ones. They are solid metal parts.

Sorry I just woke up and did not read that correctly.. They are specific for your camera.

Opteka makes some for Nikon and Canon.

They might make some for the other cameras as well. They are made out of a pretty tough metal and work very well.
