In the near furture I'll be in the market for a new system. I'm looking at the following for CPU cooling, Asetek 510LC liquid Cooler, CM V6 GT and ThermaTake FR10 OCK. Which would be the better choice for an AMD FX 8120 or FX 8320?

CASE: Cooler Master HAF X full tower
MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-D3
CPU: AMD FX 6300
COOLER: Asetek 570LX 240MM
MEM: 2x4gig Kingston Hyper X 1600MHz
HDD: WD Cavair Black 500gig
GPU: EGA Nivida GTX 650 2gig
Monitor:Dual Acer 21.5 1920x1080
PSU: Corsair CX500 V2

I would go with the frio. If i had to choose between those three.

"It works Because I threatened it." - " did you show it the sledgehammer" - "No, A flight of stairs"
"I don't want to be much of a forum Nazi but this situation calls for a hail Bosco and blitzkrieg someone".

If that does not work I hop in a Madcat and Blast it to microscopic Particles.

Mild OC to start with till I become more knowledgeable.

The Frio is a beats there is no doubt, but I would also consider the Thermaltake WATER2.0 Performer. This is actually a little less expensive than the OCK and delivers great performance as well as makes it a ton easier to work with in the computer. This BTW is the choice for all the builds I do for myself and my family if building a gaming machine. This is an Asetek design cooler and comes stock with a PUSH/PULL fan configuration. Right now it is $60 on Newegg.

Now if you go pushing really hard, that means really cranking voltages to get the speed as high as possible then the OCK is the better choice. However if you are not going to crank down to hard on the voltages, or maybe not touch them at all then the Performer is a better value. As far as temperature differences in actual use, minor at best until the highest overclock range.

The H100 is a great cooler but a bit more than my needs at this point. Maybe down the road I'll get one.
