I'm looking to sell an Alienware M17X R3 and am wondering what price would be fair, the specs are as follows:

- "17.3 1080p 3D 120Hz Screen
- Windows 7 OS
- Intel i7 2720QM 2.2GHz
- nVidia GTX 460m 1.5GB
- 8 GB (4x2GB) 1333 Memory
- Blu-ray Reader/DVD Writer
- 256GB SSD
- 1TB 5400RPM HDD

Everything is original from when I bought the laptop, except the 1TB HDD. The computer is about a year and a half old, no warranty. I have all the original CD's but no box, and you'll likely want to reinstall the machine, I'm currently too busy with work to do it myself unfortunately. What price do you think I could ask for it fairly?

Probably around $650 - $800. I can find local deals for something slightly better (560m) for $800 (trading desktop parts, which for me, will make it about $650). However, the Alienware Brand name makes it sell easier, and the SSD makes it better.

looks like a nice computer!, I'm not personally a fan of 17" laptops but $600 does sound reasonable considering it's used with no warranty at all. I paid $750 for my laptop (15", i5-2430M, 8GB memory 1333mhz, 2GB 540M *clocked to 550M speeds*, 750GB, 1080P, 4USB*2xUSB3.0,2xUSB2.0, HDMI, multicard reader and a 3 year warranty)

800-1000, You should sell it on eBay, My alienware cost exactly $1000. Alienware laptops hold there value nicely on eBay.
