Raspberry Pi is a Linux computer (although it has been ported to Android and Chromium OS) with a 800MHz ARM processor and 256MB RAM IIRC and is the size of a credit card, with a £20 price tag. The computer can stream HD media and it's designed to get young people into programming whatever their background.
Developed in the UK :D

I've one, and I've to say, it is awesome. You can use it as standalone HTPC, small media server and even connect to TV as an android powered device.
Buy & work with one and fall in love with raspberry pi for ever. :)
