XP - Good
Vista - BAD
7 - Good
8 - BAD

I've been using Vista 64 since release. There's nothing wrong with it and performs just like Win7 minus the horrible taskbar.

As for the question at hand, I dunno yet. The decision will be made when I build my new PC, whether I'll stick with Vista or go with 8. There's nothing inherently wrong with 8...nobody's forced to use the store.

No. I think I'll stick with 7. Even if I get a new compy I'll just throw my copy of 7 on it instead of getting 8.

Yes, but only because I've got Start8 and it gets rid of everything Metro and I have a start button/menu again. Also, I have an MSDN Subscription so it's free, so why not? I like the new explorer look/features and task manager/file transfer are much more informative/pretty.

I refuse to cook poop with a computer...thanks
