Haha poor blue :P

When I saw it I had hopped red had done it because I wanted his opinions on the difference between sapphires older vapour-x cooling and the dual-x cooling they are using now.

Blue had a 4850 Vapor-X and a 7770 Vapor-X...I think she liked this one just as much. Obviously she'll be able to fill you in when she gets home. :P

Fair enough although the 6970 to 7970 should be the better comparison.

Anyway sapphire makes some nice coolers and very solid cards.

Very good review @BluePanda.
There is one thing I can't understand how the max core clock speed of 7950 is 25MHz higher than the speed of 7970. :dunno:

For the 7970 review CCC was used for the OC. I think if you look back at the 7950 reviews from January -- the voltages were increased to up the OC rather than just using CCC. GPU-Z read the values for the OC that way...making up the extra OC that can't be obtained from CCC.
