I hate to say it, but this board is a little bit like buying a Ford GT. It has all the makes of a supercar (or motherboard in this case), it has all of the furnishings, and even pretty much the performance... but at the end of the day it's STILL a Ford, not a Ferrari. That's kind of how I'm looking at this board, unfortunately. At the end of the day, it's STILL an ECS board.
That said, I do the same thing with my ASRock board, so I can't really complain.

All my ECS boards I've used, couldn't overclock great, but were solid boards.

I love the ECS board in my home theater but it doesn't clock for crap. 
This one...with the gold...I just think it's hideous.

Hey if they want to charge higher bucks they should be able to compete with the big boys on more than just an overly pimped out look.
