i started to use Camtasia, and i am recording the desktop. I didn't need all the fancy settings since i'm editing the file in after-effects. Thanks for the help!

I use the Screen Video Capture. It enables me to capture video from screeneasily. With its bulid-in converter, I can convert videos to the format I want.
