So I got these two 320gb seagate HDDs out of my friend's old dell. They are sata, but not sure whether they are 1.5 or 3.
Can I use them in my custom build pc? Thinking about raiding them and use them as storage along with my 1TB WD black caviar

AFAIK the only difference is the name on the label.

Guess I'll just try to pop them in a 3gb/s port, when my mobo arrives and see then. Just wasnt sure, since it's an OEM version. Maybe it had some kind of restriction.

I am pretty sure that they are Sata 2 (3Gb/s) because I had 2 x 160GB Sata2 that looked the exact same way except for 160 instead of your 320.
