Possible to unlock the shaders of a HD 7950?

Got a heaviliy overclocked Sapphire HD 7950 OC edition @ 1150MHZ core clock. and curiours if this, or any HD 7950 can be unlocked to a HD 7970?

IMO the 7950 OCed is so close to a 7970 that even with out unlocking it it's just as good (maybe1-8fps). So I wouldn't worry to much, I know I don't. :lol:

Most likely, they laser cut the shaders so that it's disabled in a hardware level, not in a software lever like the 6950 Bios..
But why don't you try it? No harm in tyring..
