Was a little disappointed read Siberia and clicked the link hopping for an entirely white heatsync alas it appears that was not to be.

Although with that much heat pipe I look forward to hopefully seeing someone mod this cooler and bend it into some interesting shape.

Man these spammers are geniuses...put (NO SPAM) in the thread title to hide the spam.  It's brilliant.  Hopefully this doesn't catch on...what if rapists wear signs that say (NOT A RAPIST)?  They will be raping everybody! D:

I'd be even more interested to see it melted down and made into a cooler that actually performs well lol

Design is innovative, but not actually. One bent part reminds me of Noctua C14.
The main problem according to me is the air flow direction. That way airflow will partially block the air from either part thus creating higher temperature. No push-pull setup= higher temperature.

I wasn't really impressed by it either. Goofy way to do something that other coolers already do!

They need to make an air/water hybrid cooler.

IMO that would seem to be a very effective cooler. I think if done right, it would work great.

They need to make an air/water hybrid cooler.

It's called an H80/H100/etc.

Using water to pull the heat from the CPU along with a heat exchanger (radiator) is exactly what a hybrid cooler would do - I'm guessing you're talking about one that would hang entirely off of the CPU socket though. I remember seeing on a while back, I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT: http://www.overclock...iator/index.htm There's one. :D

It did ok but I also forgot to look at the price maybe I am just old and jaded since the noctua has been dethroned lol but it still held its own with the competition

Eh, not the design I was thinking of. Here's a very crude sketch of what I was thinking.
