usually when i get blue screens (very rare these days) it's because of a memory setting or an overclock. since everything is stock check to make sure your ram is stable with memtest86
the mem sticks im using i purchased the 1600mhz set but when in the modbo and up and running they were set to 1333mhz, so i changed them in the bios to the figher freq they are now. im not sure if this would count as an overclock?

You should check core dump files.
i would love to but i dont really know how to

But if no dump file is there then the PSU you are using is the reason for the problem.

Well, to resolve the bsods being caused by your drivers, you can either try updating them or simply disabling the device. Try updating first, if that doesnt help, try disabling.
- Click Start , and type "device manager" (without quotes) into the search field.
- Click Device Manager from the results list.
- In the Device Manager window that opens, double-click IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers .
- Select the 1394 Controller.
- Right click on it and select Update Driver software.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
If you want to disable the device, then instead of selecting update driver software in step 5, choose disable.
