Picked up the steel series 5HV2's today planning on taking them back tomorrow anyone got suggestions for a better head set my regular ones are my dennon hp 1000's, and I would like a head set with mic built in with similar capabilties.
I bought the steel series on a whim, but the price and weight of them should have tipped me of they would not be up to my expectations.
I need to be able to get the replacement set at compusa :sick:

, or guitar center, but that's the way it is. I can drop about $150usd on this, or if someone can find me a good stand alone mic locally in Jacksonville area 32250, that would be great as I really prefer my hp 1000's.

Here you go. Attaches to the headphone cable so you can use the Denons without having to settle for something less when you want to talk to friends.

Can't seem to find it at CompUSA or Guitar Center. Would it be possible to return the Steelseries straight up or would they require an exchange and then give you the difference?

It is a nice thought I can return them for a full refund, but as far that mic goes I had one, and broke in about 6 months, same with a similar Olympus one I had.
An one got any other mic that might be tougher?
