may want to specify I have both, but my OS is on SSD, and as NikoDG said there are hybrid drives

Most of my rigs have Mechanical hard drives...

they are still (or were) the cheapest price per Gigabyte per size of the drive... My i7-860 rig has an SSD drive as does my HTPC in my room... all others still use regular drives...

The failure rate of new SSD drives and the cost still prevents me from moving solely to SSD drives

Just HDD, don't really feel the need to have an SSD, and the prices are simply too high for me.
