My initial reaction too. But I do understand that it would have been a hassle to go back and test all the old cards with the game - time he probably didn't have.

There was no point in doing Bf3 until it was patched. There was still a ton of performance issues and 3 monitor setups were not working properly. We are moving on it here in Dec.

I can say that by itself at 1920x1200 it runs well on High (not ultra) with 4xAA and 16xAF. On ultra it is choppier but I can't really tell a difference in image quality. I could get some unofficial numbers if enough people care :)

was thinking of upgrading but the 285gtx black editions still bust out 80fps on high at 1080p so im going to wait till next gen drop from amd and nvidia and check out the new benchmarks

I love this card, runs veeeery cool... but I think is a little overpriced, I know it includes BF3 but price is still a little high.
