My initial reaction too. But I do understand that it would have been a hassle to go back and test all the old cards with the game - time he probably didn't have.

There was no point in doing Bf3 until it was patched. There was still a ton of performance issues and 3 monitor setups were not working properly. We are moving on it here in Dec.

Well I wonder how plays BF3. Can it play it at 1080P with all the goodies? :teehee:

I can say that by itself at 1920x1200 it runs well on High (not ultra) with 4xAA and 16xAF. On ultra it is choppier but I can't really tell a difference in image quality. I could get some unofficial numbers if enough people care :)

Intel i7 2600K @ 4.8 - Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 - 2x4gb Mushkin PC16000 - XFX HD 7970 Black OC Edition - Mushkin Joule 1000W - Seagate 7200.11 1TB - Corsair H100 - Acer 23.5" 3x1 Eyefinity

was thinking of upgrading but the 285gtx black editions still bust out 80fps on high at 1080p so im going to wait till next gen drop from amd and nvidia and check out the new benchmarks

I love this card, runs veeeery cool... but I think is a little overpriced, I know it includes BF3 but price is still a little high.

Very nice review as usual.-
