Go into your power settings and change the min and max cpu states both to 100%

 

I was just wondering why my i7 2630qm was doing so poorly untill i saw it never even had a chance to make it up to 2.00GHz core.

Also it apears my turbo boost is to 2.6GHz I can live with that :D

Man these spammers are geniuses...put (NO SPAM) in the thread title to hide the spam.  It's brilliant.  Hopefully this doesn't catch on...what if rapists wear signs that say (NOT A RAPIST)?  They will be raping everybody! D:

Oh oops, I was actually saying that to convey my amazement.

I was surprised it got such a high (Well, low...) score, I mean its not great but for a stock clock low-end M chip I thought it was damn good. :P

I'll try it again with both at 100%.

Only dropped the score by like 200 miliseconds, not worth updating.

I cant believe it got such a high (Well, low...) score. :P

I'll try it again with both at 100%.

 

 

We shouldn't underestimate these new intel mobile CPUs they are some serious little beasts. My i7 went from 13 sec down to 8.6 :lol:

 

Also glad it doesn't always run at max clocks because it got mighty toasty (the fact its nearly 40C ambient probably didn't help haha)

2008 and 2009 were really good years :P
This stuff still plays all the games I throw at it with no problems, I've never been (or had the ability to be) a graphics quality snob or an FPS freak so its all suited me well.

We'll see what and if I win anything in the Xmas contest, if I so I'm sure it'll make me wanna upgrade even more.

2008 and 2009 were really good years :P
This stuff still plays all the games I throw at it with no problems, I've never been (or had the ability to be) a graphics quality snob or an FPS freak so its all suited me well.

We'll see what and if I win anything in the Xmas contest, if I so I'm sure it'll make me wanna upgrade even more.

Just finished with my mums laptop and it does a 26sec calc on a 2.2GHz Intel Pentium mobile processor.....

Crazy how things progress so well. If I can be bothered ill up a screen.
