I am so skeptical about the game being as good as the past games. I remember playing Duke Nukem back in the day, I had to goto a friends house and play it because my mom wouldn't let me play it at home lol.. We will see, from the sound of it they are just polishing off the game 3D realms had made. I am hoping it lives up to the hype.

I remember playing Duke Nukem at my friend's dad's work. His dad would take the two of us there and we'd get set up on their LAN and just play multiplayer for a few hours every so often. Such great fun.

Ayn Rand is the author for people who want to act like complete douche-bags, but don't have the balls to just admit that they are douche-bags.
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

this dev cycle was a year or less, so I'm pretty sure 3d Realms had a LOT done when they called it quits.
They did, it just wasn't polished.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
