The sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum is going to be called Batman: Arkham City. It'll be launching on the PC, PS3, and 360 and will take place within Gotham City as Batman rounds up the inmates who have escaped from Arkham Asylum. So far, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and Talia al Ghul have been confirmed as new villians and Mark Hamill is set to reprise his role as the Joker for the final time. The next issue of Game Informer is set to have a huge cover story on the game.

Mr. Freeze and Catwoman were the two villains I was hoping for. Mr. Freeze because they can alter the world in the late game similar to Poison Ivy in the first game, and Catwoman because they needed at least one hottie to replace Harley and Poison Ivy 
. I also think a city environment is perfect for an acrobat like her.

Hopefully this one also supports PhysX! The list of physx games is quite short. XD
Agreed. PhysX in BAA really did enhance the experience.

1up.com has a bit more on it. Arkham City is a heavily fortified district of Gotham which has become the new home for the criminals. Like Clay, I am looking forward to what an acrobat like Catwoman can do in an entire city. Should be very interesting and next fall can't come fast enough!

IMO the name is kinda stupid. i understand it cant be Arkham asylum 2 if its not based there
No mark hamil after this one, but who will play the joker in the sequel to arkham 2?
like the others i was kinda disapointed at the lack of freeze and catwoman. especially as you got to see freeze's cell in the 1st one.
i'd also like to see the riddler more involved i.e. an actual boss / role in story. making you solve the riddler's riddles to advance certain stages of the story could be cool.
edit: also from memory two-face wasn't in the first one and could appear.

BAA was a great surprise game. Can't wait for the sequel. Running around the city should be great. Hopefully it will be open to do more things and approach tasks different ways. Maybe even getting to drive the bat mobile.
