So I guess BFG is leaving the GPU market. They were a good company, with good warranties and customer service. Reliable cards as well. Sad day...
“Rumor has it the State of the Union is today rather than tomorrow to avoid conflicting with the Lost premiere. But my feelings towards one are pretty similar to my feelings towards the other: I’m confused by the most recent plot twists and skeptical that the writers can wrap it all up in one tidy package.” By Ezra Klein, talking about the 2010 State of the Union Address.

I suspected this a long while ago as they offered one of the best product warranties in the PC parts market...they pay shipping both was and fix everything....used them a couple times...

guess I need to get that FX5200ultra RMA'd soon....lol

"No longer profitable" I would never have guessed. I have owned a few BFG cards. Never had an issue. That's too bad.

The only card I ever bought that was BFG ran at 85C and was a hunk of crap. Good riddance, I say.

Dang... wish they could have gone red like XFX did... BFG's warranty (and tech support) was awesome, shame I never put it to use, but knowing I had it was great :(

Just posted an article about it. Definitely a sad day. My 8800GTX is BFG branded, its still going strong 3 years later and shows no sign of quitting. BFG will still support the RMA process for all cards, so feel free to send it in when you can Doc. Sad day..

OH NO!!

Somehow whenever I was looking for the best deal on the nvidia card I wanted it was BFG that I went to. Never had any issues with them, it's sad to see them go. I second the comment about them going red, wish that happened. :dunno:
