Agreed, the ASUS one is really nice. I'm also liking the alternating memory slots on it, good to see something different from the norm on the AMD side. Now, to see what the rest of the 800 series will have to offer.

The Asus is a nice board. For the last couple of weeks I've been running a a locked 550 C3 as a quad core at 4050MHz with 8GB of memory at 1800MHz, CAS8.

I must say the ASUS M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 has been one of the best boards I have had the pleasure to test. It is very stable and offers a lot of the features I look for in a motherboard. The the two biggest pluses for me was the alternating memory slots and the Core Unlocker feature which is still running my X2 555 with all four cores stable for about a week now.

There were some bumps in the road early on but now the feature is really solid. I've asked for some improvements to C1E and some additional info displayed in the BIOS. Other then this my suggested to-do list is pretty much done.

All ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte motherboards will have an unlocking feature on all of their 800-Series motherboards.
I'm all for it :D
