What is the biggest game you know? I know that Empire: Total war takes up 15 Gig. Anything beat that?

I know Flight Sim X is around 15-20gb, and Vanguard (city of heroes? i think) is around 20gb.

my playstation 2 folder is 68.8GB and WoW is 14.4GB.

My smallest games are a bunch of 25KB NES games.

Oh boy i was going to post a similar thread to this, im totally gonna go on a field trip now :lol: is this The biggest game with or Without DLC's installed? i cant even remember the last time i checked on FO3 with all DLC :P

IIRC X-Plane 9 is the largest. It'll eat up well over 60 GB of HDD space if you install the whole world.

depending on the number of mods you use, Oblivion can get pretty big. My install is currently 9.3 Gigs

Dragon Age: Origins will probably beat that, though we won't know just yet. System requirements are listed at 20GB. However, that may take into account the toolset.

I'm sure, when it's released, Star Wars: The Old Republic will break the hard drive record for a game though....MMO with FULL VOICEOVERS and multiple dialog trees (and each class has it's own unique storyline)? Um, yeah. Finally a real use for the 1TB drives other than pr0n :lol:

My wow folder at one point was at 23gigs. Tons of screenshots, addons, and patches yeah... But I quit wow recently... Yeah I know :-\

I remember when Deus Ex/Unreal Tournament installed 700MB and 900MB respectively.

Utter outrage it was.

Brutal. As was Windows 95 on a stack of Floppies ... absolutely awful way of installing the OS, but far cheaper than a CD-ROM drive at the time!
