Looks like a very nice NAS box and especially full feature packed...only thing I dont like it the price...
add 5 drives and you'd be $1,300.00 easily...ouch

I'm working on a review now of another NAS server that's targeted at the home user with some of the features of the TS-509, but at less than half the cost. Performance-wise it won't touch the TS-509 but it should be sufficient for most home users.
