I used to scream and cry about Northwestel but they have really improved things the last few years. We are still paying a lot but these speeds are game-able and this is a fairly secluded area. Big improvement from the packet loss nightmare it used to be.

Internet speeds here in the States are horrible. When I lived in Taiwan, I had 50Mb/s down and 8Mb/s up for only $30, but now that I'm back home in Chicago. I pay $25 for 25Mb/s down and 2Mb/s up. I'm totally disappointed.
