when/if I ever build an HTPC, I'm all over that card. good stuff :D

It's at lower temps then my HD4850 (custom cooling by Sapphire) in an open area.

It would be useful if the authors would include details of the case and fans, in order to give the reader a clearer picture of the actual test conditions.

Since I did this one I will help you out. The case used at that time was a TT Armor Plus full tower. 1-120mm fan in 1-120 mm fan out, Mushkin 800watt PSU 120 mm fan out and the 200 MM side panel fan blowing in. Just about any well ventilated case will provide the results i received. With minimal ventilation the temperatures would indeed rise above what was recorded.
