I'd take a 4850 anyday over the 9800GTX. Practicaly the same performance as the 4850 and still requires more power. Not really a good choice. Although I am glad to see it did a little better than it's older 65nm brother

That I do agree with you!!! ATI drivers suck especially 8.8 and 8.9. I have no problems with 8.7

The 8.8 cats are not bad, the 8.10s fix a few issues and add fan speed control.


For the price its not a bad card. Its just not the 4850 killer, with the benchs split basically 50/50 its a wash.
