Having followed the Gop Just Punched The Ticket! topic, I thought it may be interesting to conduct a poll. I know John McCain is a presumptive candidate at present, but assuming he will be nominated, who would you vote for?

If I was American, I wouldn't support either the Democratic or Republican parties, but would vote for the lesser of two evils (Democratic :P)

True. Maybe it has a much bigger effect on us than most Americans realise. ;)

After comparing some more policies, I'd probably go for Ralph Nader.

Lol, how do you know I'm not American?

However, it's something that UK residents are very interested in (it's in our news nightly) and just to let you know, I haven't cast a vote as I'm not resident in the US.

I haven't voted because I haven't made up my mind yet. I'm leaning towards McCain at the moment.

Well, he could have been simply living in the UK, but still an American citizen, and thus vote via absentee ballot :P

I had to go with McCain, though I'm not really crazy about either one.

Me either but McCain hasn't proposed raising my taxes so I'm sticking with him.

Exactly, in fact I have lived a large part of my life in different countries. I wasn't born in the UK either, it just happens to be where I am at the moment, but won't be forever.
