hey everyone,

we've just wrapped up a review of an ECS Black Series P45 mobo - check it out!

this looks like a solid "Swiss Army" type board - workstation, light gaming, 'Net and e-mail, etc.

Yea I was disapointed too with the OC scores but at stock it performed quite well....
BTW the Black design is eye catching.

I been using ECS boards for our custom builds at the store for a bit over a year now. They are reliable and decent performing boards for the average user and/or light gamer.

But I wouldn't ever recommend one for overclocking or for a true gaming system. Only the office work type PC's and as I said the average user that doesn't really game all that much.

I'm surprised the caps didn't blow off while testing! I hated those boards when I was building systems on the cheap for people. Rma galore.
