hey guys,

we've just wrapped up a review of Palit's GTX280 - check it out!

this is one good looking card, and it also comes at a pretty reasonable price!

Barring a few anomalies with the EVGA 260 I think thats a pretty darn powerful card...

You have to remember the EVGA card is extremely overclocked for a factory card. Max overclock to max overclock it is slower. Frobot FTW

Usually I love the reviews on this site, but this one I find skeptical. You are taking an OC'd card and putting it up against stock timing cards. I would appreciate this article a lot more if the 4870 was OC'd a bunch to really compare the difference. We all know the gtx280 is great but these graphs are biased in the sense that its one of the only ones if not the only one posted as OC'd in the tests.

dkizzy, if you want to compare the OCed scores with OCed scores, go into the 4870 review and find the OCed scores there. The test system is identical.
