  1. At first i wanted to get SandDisk extreme, but 850 PRO was always ahead in benchmarks and it was 1$ USD cheaper, so it appeared to be a much better investment as for why PRO and not EVO, is cause of the nanad TYPE (MLC). Why not go PCI-E this time around? Uhhmm, their price..

  4. How is that even possible ? wouldnt the chip instantly fry ? sometimes i get afraid to raise .025 haha No, you need a lot more to fry a CPU.. You need to run it at max temp for quite some time at high voltage.. I've been running mine at 1.325v for at least a month.. It didn't destroy the chip, it might have damaged it's life span, but if you take into account that these chips designed to run for at least 10 years, then I wouldn't worry about it that much.. EDIT: typo fix.
  5. I was hitting throttling at 100c, at 4.8Ghz, 3.275v. I must say it got hot pretty fast. For the time being running at 4.7Ghz, 2.75v, max temp at 100% load is about 70c-75, AIDA 64/Prime, Corsair H110 with 2x NF-A14 PWM.
  6. I'm running a few VMs(Deabian for development and Ubuntu for making android builds) on my machine + plus have a lot of stuff opened. The average memory use is at about 75%-80% on normal basis, when I startup a game I peak up to 99%, that's the reason why I want to upgrade memory as for the GPU, I plan to upgrade it this year. Also with more memory I can speed up my android builds as I can allocate more memory to VMs.
  7. Sorry my answer wasn't put right, is running 4 sticks will affect OC stability? The memory controller will have to work with 4 sticks instead of with 2, which will put more work load on it. Will it have some kind of effect on my OC. The reason I ask this question because of I have done a research on the topic and the conclusion I came up with is that it's beter to run 2 sticks of memory with an overclocked system rather then 4 sticks => Does it hold any truth to it ? No, running 4 sticks compared to 2 sticks won't affect OC stability most of the time. For example, I have 8 memory sticks on a X79's 3930K at 4.5GHz daily at 1866MHz. It doesn't affect my overclock stability. However, if I try to run those memory sticks at 2400MHz speeds, then yes, it will affect overclock stability, even though I'm stable with 4 memory sticks at 2400MHz, I may not be with 8 memory sticks at 2400MHz. Thank you! I'll get another kit of 2x4.

I would like to upgrade my memory from 8gigs to 16 gigs, the question is should I add another kit of 2x4gigs sticks or get a kit of 2x8gigs (removing my current 2x4 kit and leaving only the new 2x8 kit) From what I read it's prefered to have only 2 sticks for dual channle to keep your CPU oc more stable. Does it hold any truth? Thank you!

Hello, I want to add 4 extra USB 2.0 connectors I want to use a 4 usb plate (http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Female-Plate-Adapter-USBPLATE4/dp/B00015Y0FK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420378416&sr=8-1&keywords=USBPLATE4) The question is, can I use USB13 (as seen in Figure 01) for my USB 2.0 front panel USB, and USB1112 + USB910 for the 4 USB plate? I'm asking this question cause of on MAXIMUS VII HERO User's Manual page 46 USB13 is also labeled as ROG_EXT (Figure 02) as well as on the solder mask(Figure 03).   12. Aight!! Which means a i7 3930K along with Asus Sabertooth X79 s2011(or any other X79 chip Motherboard), equipped with Corsair 4x8GB Vengeance Quad (10-10-10-27), in the future I'll get a beter binned ram so 24Gigs should be enough for starters.
