aaron6581230 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 If I didn't recently upgrade to LGA 1155, I would have completely gone for this.
NikoDG Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 If I didn't recently upgrade to LGA 1155, I would have completely gone for this. If I didn't already have a 3930K I would have definitely grabbed this as well. The wait was just a little too long for me
VaporX Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Hey Coke can you give us some of the settings you used on the various overclocks you tested. When I did my testing I was able to hit 4.0 with no tweaking other than a multiplier bump. I am curious what tweaking you had to do for 4.3 with multiplier and the other levels. MercuryDoun Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 This is great Frank! Thanks!! I just might wait until i can afford one of these instead of "cheaping" out on an i5-2500k! Lol
Black64 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I think I will stay one generation behind Intel on my next upgrade, with those prices I don't wanna upgrade.
d6bmg Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Very good processor which gives best hale for bucks. I think 3820+any x79 board can marginally beat 2600K+z68 combo.
