  1. I think the point of it is to keep dirty bong water out of the main system. Do U want to try and clean out yer cpu block asfter a few months? Seems easier to me to have to clean the fins on yer rad. But thats just my opinon
  2. hey dude waiting for pics and a little write up.
  3. Im looken forward to some pics. Im curious as to how u are doing this. Is it just a tub of water with yer rad in it and a fan blowing on the water? Are you adding cold water to the tub?? Some pics and a discription please.
  4. Well one easy way, maybe not easy but one way to do it. Would be to make yer own watercooling bong and put yer rad in it. U would need a second pump for the bong. I explored this idea at one time. U would have to learn to use arylic and make a decent looken bong, if ya want it to look nice. And you would need a second pump. If you did it right you could have the pump push suck the water threw your rad. Pros: Below ambiet cooling Dirty bong water does not make it into yer blocks Cons: Condensation Cost
  5. Well, I only speak for myself but I would love to see OCCC back in action. Is there a need?? Well I didnt see many names from OCCC posting in this thread, so I think they just dont hang here. Why do I want OCCC back? The maturity level, lack of flaming and trolling was real refreshing. Its also nice to talk canadian prices and mod stores. There are other canadian sites, but none are as good as OCCC was. In my opinion.
  6. I have a creative webcam. And it came with software that does just that. I tried the same software with a logitech but with no luck. It does exsist thou. Good luck
  7. lmfao Dude dont ever use the word sweet when it comes to onboard video.
  8. Hey there Id personally go with the aluminum 120mm fan. Only a few dba louder, more CFM, and cheaper. Use rubber washers or some other way of controlling vibration http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.p...showtopic=11394
  9. Holy shatl Its not a debate as to weather or not fingers as a thermal probe, or if being inside yer case when it is on is a stupid thing to do. Just me venting at the post bombers and thread hijackers that live here. computerfreakxv 320 is a bit high with no cooling. Get a fan mounted on yer case blowing on that radeon (if you dont allready) and heat sinks are cheap, releativly. If you indent to run that radeon at those speeds then cool it. I personally only overclock my 9700 for benchmarks, other then that it is kinda pointless since my cpu is my bottle neck and not the 9700. Hope that helps
  10. Seems to make perfect sense to me. It would be cool to test yer theory, if you decide to post yer results
  11. Hey Janglar; I went to bestbyte and they no longer have the fan you are have. I also went looking around and the only 135cfm fan I found was a YS-tech 120mm, and there web page specs have it at 58DBA. I personally dont wanna go over 35dba, ill get two lesser cfm lesser dba fans before I get a high cfm dba fan. Which makes me wonder, is haven two 35 dba fans the same as haven one 70 dba fan. LOL I think not from past experiances but it makes me wonder. Now im gonna have to go looken for an answer grrrrr ****EDIT**** Well I found my answer. It seems that 88 decibles + 90 decibles = 92 decibles and 88 decibles + 88 decibles = 91 decibles http://www.steve-o.com/public/unc/decibel/db22.html So ill go with the two low decible fans.
  12. Hi guys; I been putten allot of thought into my next machine. Doing allot of reading, searching for reviews, reading specs. Im kind of thinking of maken my own case this time around. I want good airflow but I want to keep the noise down. More then likely water cooled. Does anyone have experiance with the 120mm aluminum fans that frozencpu and others carry??? It seems to kick . 80cfm@2000rpm 29DBA $15 When a vantec stealth 120mm is 53cfm@1500rpm 28DBA $18 I mean if ya go with that aluminum fan yer only 4cfm less then a 80mm torando, but at half the DBA. Seems to me that the aluminum 120mm fan is a decent fan, low DBA, high CFM. Personal experiences, anyone???
  13. Hey guys; Tryen to find some info on passive watercooling rads. Seen a few home build jobs made from copper pipe. Only factory one I have found is the InnovaKonvekt-o-Matic Passive Raditator Does anyone know of any others?? Or is everyone just using car Rads???
  14. Well one of yer biggest problems is a lack of fans. I personally allways have 2 intake 2 exhaust. if ya wanna keep the moise down get some vantec stealth fans http://www.xoxide.com/80vanstealfa.html There fairly cheap. Low CFM rating but still much better then what ya got now for intake. I had to rebuild this PC because i moved across the world, and only kept the components. I ran it for 3 months with only one intake and one exhaust, and then I finally made it to an english computer market and got two more fans, and saw my temps drop by 4-5 degrees Celcius. Buy fans
  15. LOL@overclocker16 People who smoke weed dont kill each other. I mean ya I drank to much and i killed the ho orrr i snorted to much blow and went on a rampage but NOT I smoked a J and she wouldnt get me some penuts so I killed the ho I cant seem to remeber that being in the headlines
