  1. This Option in Smart Guardian is disabled in my case, no way to do it this way ! And still no option in BIOS ! Why does DFI say in the description of 8/11 "add chipset fan control 90% 70% 60%" ??
  2. I have EXACTLY the same problem. I also flashed the 8/11 BIOS on a NF4-Infinity, and I have NO option in BIOS for Chipset Fan Speed !! Where is it ?
  3. Doesn't anyone know wahat the difference is ? Because I want to know if they send ma the correct board or if I have to send it back. Is the infinity better then the DAGF ? Thanks, Holger
  4. Does anybody know if there is any difference between the NF4-DAGF and the NF4-Infinity ? It's because I bought this Board 3 times now to build Computers and the first 2 were NF4-DAGF's which was printed on the package. But after an BIOS update the BIOS itself shows NF4-Infinity ... Now the 3rd Board I bougt last week was an NF4-Infinity which was also printed on the package, but I ordered an NF4-DAGF. So is there any difference or has DFI renamed the NF4-DAGF and its now called Infinity ?? Greetings Holger
  5. Thats normal with this board ! I have built a system using this board a couple of years ago, and it was the same. 5-7 seconds from powering on till it even initializes the Monitor. Because I havent used the Raid/SATA Controller, I can nothing say about that, but it seems to be normal to me. Except that, this is a very fast and stable board !
  6. With all my DFI Boards I've had before it was like this. A little change is indicated by a higher number in the 3rd position like R.A00 -> R.A01 -> R.A02 A bigger change in the 2nd number like R.A02 -> R.AA0 -> R.AA1 or R.A02 -> R.AA0 -> R.AB0 etc. And sometimes it is also canging the 1st number so ic an be from R.AB2 -> R.B00 -> R.BA0 -> etc. With all my DFI Boards I've used to build Systems it was always like that, so I think it schuld be the same here. But maybe A_G or someone else can confirm this.
  7. I think R.AA0 is a newer Revision then R.A00, R.A01 or R.A02. So I believe you don't have to RMA your Board, you only got a newer Version !
  8. red baron, what about your graphics card ? I've read the whole thread and as I see you exchanged every piece of hardware except your 9800 pro. And the problems you describe are only in graphical applications like games. I'm pretty sure that this is your 9800 pro. Try another graphics card to be sure your 9800 pro is OK, because I've seen many 9800 pro's causing problems, including mine which totally died after 3 month of use. Greetings
  9. Ok, then some people in Germany have bought boards that have not been releasded yet, because on the first page I linked, they say : "The shipment from 27. January is sold out already, you can preorder for the next shipment on 04. February". But only for the UT SLI-D. All the others are not availiable till now.
  10. I just found 2 shops in Germany that have the DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-D (NOT SLI-DR !!) already in stock !!!! http://www.hpm-computer.de/mainboards/sock...yutnf4slid.html and http://www.oc-wear.de/pd-849370908.htm?categoryId=15 The other 2 ( Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR & Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D) are not in stock yet. I'm a little bit confused about this, because of the statement that they were fixing something and the date should be not before January 31.
  11. Your cable to the front audio connectors need to have "audio return" connectors for the left and the right channel. The jumers originally seatet on the pins are to connect the rear connectors to the onboard sound. if you remove them, the rear connectors are not connected unless your audio cables to the front habe the return pins to return the signal from the fron t connectors to the rear connectors. Some cases have coables where the return pins are directly connected to the out pins. In that case the front and the rear connectors can be used simultaniously. Anyway for the rear connectors to work, the out pins have to be connected to the return pins in any way, directly over the jumpers, or the cable. If not, they can not be used. I hope that helps.
  12. When you press F6, setup don't want to have the diskette at the same time, it first starts copying files ant then is promtpting you to press "Z" to include drivers, or press "Enter" to continue installing. Then you have to press Z and you need the disk then. If you haven't pressed F6, this screen will not appear. So press F6 when asked, then wait while copying files, and then when asked press Z and use the disk.
  13. OK, if you don't want to overclock, I would recommend you the Arctic Cooling Copper Silent 2L. I never used this particular Model by myself, but i often build computers using the Arctic Cooling Copper Silent 2 Rev.2 an I think its the same without the blue light in the fan. This is a great Cooler because it's cheap (6,50 € in Germany), its very silent (20 db) and it is cooling absolutely sufficiant if you don't want to overclock. If you want extreme overclocking, go for Thermalright, but if you have to choose between the three, take the AC Copper Silent !!
  14. As I recognized in the past, this message appears when you connect the cable the wrong way. You MUST connect the connector labeled "System" to the mainboard, and the other ends to the drives. If you put "Master" or "Slave" in the Mainboard, this message appears. If the cable is not labeled, the the "system side" is the one with the loger calbe to the next connector. If connected the wrong way, it works also but maybe not at full speed, I think.
