  1. Heh, I used the PS/2 adapter from my mouse and it worked
  2. I'm trying to boot from CD, and when my bios gets to the screen where it asks to 'press any key' to boot from CD, my wireless keyboard doesn't work! I don't have an extra PS/2 keyboard either, any suggestions?
  3. If you have XP Pro legally you could exchange it for x64, there was another thread on that if I recall correctly.
  4. Wire management is fun! It's like a puzzle, a long...frustrating puzzle... I enjoy it personally. EDIT: I just "finished" my wire management on my pc. Front Back Useful Tools
  5. Are you talking about these? I have those, they wrap behind your head instead of around the top. I got them for cheap, and my other headset was broken in two pieces so I took it. It's an alright headset, but if you are spending $60+ don't get this.

    Newegg ?

I ordered stuff on Tuesday night, was shipped out on Wednesday... and it sat in the "dest sort facility" all yesterday...
  8. I do have myspace and I looked before I posted, thanks.
  9. yeah, could have been a photoshop job easily
  10. Someone should just get a set of pictures of a good example of how much AS to put on, so you can just show people instead of describing "A BB or Pea" size. Food for thought
  11. The mobo standoffs is a good idea, but my 5.25 bay has no screwholes, and I am really bad at trying to get them lined up. I'm working on a little solution right now, with el dremel. As for FedEx, Its from Newegg, so it went from CA to Ft. Worth, but instead of shipping it down I-45, or whatever, they I guess flew it to Houston (or drove straight past me). It's still sitting in at "dest sort facility". Estimated date is August 1st, just hoped it would have gotten here today EDIT: Ok Here is what I had to dremel: This was one part of two, that made up the original hard drive cages in the XaserIII case. It was really bad airflow, so I removed them. I decided- because my 5.25 bay has no screw holes- to rework the hard drive cages into that slot. I didn't want to screw in holes to mount it, so what would one use? Zip ties! w00t! Hey, they're better than duct tape It's pretty snug in there, hopefully there won't be any rattle going on.
  12. haha, AC is alot cheaper to run in TX than it was in CA, let me tell you, we have it on 24/7 (temperture monitoring to turn on/off). I run my ceiling fan too, my room is nice and chilly I wasn't talking about actually using all that btw, I edited the post
  13. Heh, "Extreme air cooling", I could probably get my room temp to 50~F if I tried I'm going to try that configuration and see if it doesn't get too hot (the hard drive, not the "extreme air cooling")... as soon as fedex gets their stuff together Conroe is north of Houston... Dallas/Ft. Worth is way north of Conroe... they missed me . Hopefully I'll get my stuff today, if not it's gonna be a long Sunday...
  14. I dunno about this, but I installed an extra hd below my master drive, just for the extra room if I need it, I am wondering if this configuration will pose over-heating problems. Master is a 40gb Seagate Baracuda 7,2000rpm and slave is a 20gb Western Digital Caviar 7,2000rpm Case is a XaserIII steel chassis, cold to the touch. I will have 7 fans, plus the 2 in my PSU so I know things are going to be cool, just the proximity of the drives might make it a problem.
