  1. post your geek-approved christmas lists here...im still not sure what i want but i know that this bad boy is gonna be on there. http://www.pconhand.com/onhandpc.asp
  2. lmfao im diggin your lil slogan under your icon andrusk....if it has not been obvious yet, he believes one should use the search engine to find threads
  3. all i can say is make sure you use protection, cause the ladies will be flocking to you in that bad boy and you never know what you could catch
  4. sorry hades, i really dont find that background funny
  5. thats pretty sweet kobalt, any idea when thats comin out, cause I am leaning towards swiftech right now. I like their design, and they have pretty good results with the mcx4000.
  6. the swiftech can fit the 92 mm vantec, i just didnt find a link for it...any other opinions?
  7. Hey guys The new rig im building (currently only in my head, but Ill be getting my parts soon ) is gonna have a Pentium 4 2.4c overclocked to about 3.0. I'm not sure what heatsink/fan combo to get, but heres the two I was looking at. This one is the Thermaltake Spark 7+ Xaser edition heatsink/fan combo which comes with a fan that goes up to 6000 rpm, and has switches that you can fit into a front or rear panel to control its speed. The second choise is Swiftech MCX4000 heatsink with a Vantec Tornado fan which goes up to 4700 rpm I believe. Its less rpm then the Thermaltake, but I think the Swiftech is a much better heatsink. So please post your opinions or ideas here as to which one you think i should get, or if you have an idea as to another combo that would work better just post it here. Thanks alot guys, peace.
  8. i had a quick question about power supply cables that might clean up the look. I dont understand why you cant just wrap some electrical tape around them to make each PSU connector look like one round cable.
  9. what online stores do you guys go to to find the cheapest prices from online retailers. the only ones I kno of are pricegrabber.com and pricewatch.com, but i think theres more out there, and possibly better deals..
  10. time machine....although if i created one of those i would just flash about 100 years into the future and steal a computer, then come back in time and own you all
  11. i used to do speed all the time...now THAT will mess you up nah im just playin, but im pretty sure that bawls is "dangerous" just because it gets your heart goin faster, so those with really really weak hearts could get messed up after a while....but hey, gotta live on the wild side sometimes hehe
  12. how do you guys get that screne up to see your ram timings, wut program is that?
  13. burger king and chinese food can kill you too, but our country seems to enjoy things thats are "bad" for you. Most of the things arent really bad enough to kill you, if done in moderation. Its those people who go nuts and drink like 3 cases of Bawls at once and their heart implodes or soemthing.
  14. yea theyre all exactly the same fan, and after reading a recent review of the X-Superalien case i found out that 2 of the intake fans were connected to one control knob already, and the other knob can be used for what you want. i think ill just make 2 exhaust fans work on the second knob, and simply leave one intake and one exhaust at full RPM.
  15. Im pretty sure im getting the X-SuperAlien computer that was just recently posted on. One thing i was wondering about was that the front fan controller that comes in the case only has 2 nobs, and there are 6 case fans that come with the case. Now, I was wondering if there is a way to connect all 3 intake fans to one nob, and all 3 exhaust fans to the other nob, so i could controll the speed of all my fans. The thermaltake Spark 7 im getting has something i can insert in an extra 5 inch bay to controll the heatsink fan, so that doesnt matter.
