Surround sound usage

i use a surround sound headset for my pc and i have a system for my living room but i don't use it for surround sound.  i use it to put a speaker in every room so i can hear whats playing in every room.

My Denon AVR-1910 takes care of everything, it has a second zone for 2.0 and enough HDMI connectors for the PC. Generally, I use 2.0/2.1 for music or any time I want to sit at the PC. Other times when I want to game on the television, I use the HDMI to the receiver. I am able to use the 10" subwoofer from the PC, via the use of an adapter.
