  1. With the right ram you can hit 275-280 FSB stable on air with a winchester. Corsair PC4400 can hold this stable at tight timings. If you run the timings to loose, but at higher FSB, you may loose performance. i.e ram at a 1:1 ratio, 200 fsb, 2-2-2-5, will perform better on a with an AMD 64 bit platform than ram at 250fsb 3-5-5-8 (in most cases) in real tests. If you want speed make sure you get ram that can handle tight timings, corsair xms platinum PC4400 can hit 560DDR @ 3-4-4-8 which is dang fast. AMD 64s need fast ram to keep up! On air you could expect 2.4 or 2.6 if your lucky. a good article: http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/show...ad.php?t=107925
  2. yup same here, i couldnt get my A7N8X over 205fsb Swap it for a Abit NF7-s
  3. Forget the unlocked preweek 39 i had 29 of them for testing at one stage and none of them could beat my brand new Barton XP 2500 (mobile). All XPM mobiles are unlocked (and correct me if im wrong) but are picked from the best part of the wafer. Stock Vcore is only 1.57, I have it stable on water at 2736 (12 x 228) Vcore 2.1 my idle temps are 36 and 42 load! you should get one of these babies the OC even better than the best stepping unlocked 2500's
  4. I have a Brand New not even opened Matrix Orbital internal usb cable for sale. Retail value is
  5. I think about $120, but I'm in the UK and thats
  6. yes and no. you can still flash and get a performance increase with non samsung memory. My np to pro worked first time and i have infenion memory. Yes you need to know what your doing but where did you get the 50% figure from??
  7. This is a job i did for a goverment agency, it involved skinning XP pro to batch out to their employees. The theme was 'cuboid'. Modelled in Maya as a full animation. this is the desktop image on my own machine, all the XP component looks were changed too but you can't see them here (unfortunately).
  8. Unfortunately not, but i have a 1700 JIHUB and these 2500's are getting better overclocking results.
  9. I have several, 19 to be exact! how much are you willing to pay?
  10. You should try to hide the outside wires by shrouding them in 'shower hose' like in Gnome's Orac project. that would fit in perfect with the metallic look to your case, which BTW is sweet i love it! keep up the good work
  11. hehe (I loathe/despise/hate posters that always use the 'Ole' Google card! soz! just foolin!) Get it here, Prime95.exe Or here Prime95.zip IMHO 'nothing' stress tests your system like prime95! Besides I heard the US military/Gov't had hijacked F@H to do something else, other than find a cure for cancer/alzheimers? (someone elses conspiracy theory!)
  12. Don't worry about OCing! Just turn it on its side stick a frying pan on top and voila! a new lost cost dual function Wok! No, seriously, those temps are way too high. I would work at getting them down or getting some air conditioning installed in your room before even contemplating overclocking. Your machine just won't run stable when overclocked at those temps, although they are within AMD operating temperatures!
