Personally I would get the Vapor-x just because once the stock cooler is over 55% it gets unbearably loud.
-
Go with the 4890 a faster single card is almost always a better option plus you always have the option of doing CF 4890s later on.
-
To me this looks a lot like the diablo games.
-
Is this card still available or has it been sold?

If you enjoyed pvp in WoW and are interested in another MMO you should check out the Aion beta so far it looks like a fairly sweet game.

Seagate 500GB Momentus 2.5" Hard Drive Tested

Looking a case up to 125 USD

CPU3D and Pureoverclock's reviews of the Lancool PC-k58(k62s little brother without the top 2 140mm fans) show it as being fairly decent at cooling so it would be safe to assume that the PC-k62 would also be a very cool case. -
First off don't use the newegg customer reviews at all they are pointless and 9/10 people who post review just go on about how awesome it is or how terrible it is. Use something like the newegg search and narrow your choices down to 4-5 boards and then Google them for credible reviews, this will give you a much better idea as to how those boards perform against each other and the drawbacks they come with.

Prices will always come down so if you cant play the games you want to right now upgrade. If you can still play them comfortably and don't have a problem with waiting a few months hold off on the upgrade either way you'll end up with a good gaming machine.
-
So far it looks like a nice build but I would definitely get a bigger monitor, something like this maybe Asus VH226H? After rebate its $150 and you wont regret the extra space. As for cases look at the Cooler Master 690 and the Antec 300 both are $60-70 and are very good cases.
-
The Antec 300 is also a fairly small case, it looks like its .6/.7" shorter and .8/.9" taller.
-
Looks like NZXT is making a revision to this case called the Beta EVO which adds ventelation for 2 120mm fans on the top of the case and cable management holes along the side. It also looks like they moved the power supply spot to the bottom.
-
If its gaming hes after he should look at phenom II something like this should do Harddrive - Seagate 7200.12 1Tb $90 Motherboard - Asus Crosshair III Formula $200 Processor - AMD Phenom II 955 BE $200 Graphics - Sapphire HD 4890 Vapor X $400(2 of them) RAM - 4Gb G.Skill DDR3 1333 $75 Power Supply - Corsair 750w $120 Heatsink - Xigmatek Dark Knight $45 Total comes out to $1140, hell if he wanted to he could easily pick up a GTX 295 and still come out under budget or step up to the PII 965.

How to make sure I get the right Stepping
Flar replied to WReXSTi's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
A couple people I know have found the code for the D0 stepping and made the employees look through all their stock for one with a matching code. -
Some of the player made DLC is really good too. I presonally am loving Death Aboard and Night Terror.
