Venom_X Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I have the configuration below. I can play any game using one video card. As soon as I enable SLI the screen flashes the game then goes black. I have tried each card separately and they both work great alone. I have both cards in x8 PCI slot, so I am not sure if that is what causes it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. WarWeeny Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 What games are you trying to play? It could be that there aren't any SLI profiles for the game and that it interferes with the output.

El_Capitan Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 You need to do a complete uninstall of the drivers (link in my sig), and then re-install the drivers. You need to make sure all remnants of the drivers are gone before you install the drivers.

El_Capitan Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Let me know how SLI goes. I've found frame drops to be pretty bad on the GTX 970's in SLI. A review that goes into the frame drops: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_980_sli_review,9.html I only really noticed it in a few games and benchmarks, and in some games and benchmarks it wasn't as noticeable. Still, very annoying. Hopefully a newer driver with SLI Profiles fixes this.
Venom_X Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I ran 3dmark11 and it scored at 19240. That is everything stock, with no O.C. On anything. Framerates were VERY Good.

Framerates were VERY Good. 3dmark11 worked good for me. Try Unigine Heaven (I used 2.1, but it might have the same issue with 4.0 or whatever the latest version is now).
