Alittle help

Recommended Posts

I have made a small overclock and it is stable, on running CoolTemp,CPZ,Prime95  and getting system info I did notice that the actual default setting showed that it could run at 4100mhz, I have attached file showing readings.

I did try running at 3800mhz but I kept loosing core5 so I`m not to sure what I should do next as I think having 6cores and not using the cpu`s full potential is a waste, any ideas.

The best thing you can do is to search for some overclocking guides on overclocking a vishera chip.

It is likely you need to increase voltages to keep a stable overclock, but there can be so much more.

What are your bios settings for this overclock? Did you do anything to the ram? Did you overclock by multiplier or by base clock? What voltages did you use for this overclock? Did you leave anything to auto?

You get the idea. :P
