  1. nah man, I'm kind of giving up right now, I'm gonna stay at 4.3GHz, which is the highest stable overclock... kind of disappointed tough, I thought it was a driver thing, but there is no way to know that... so yeah.. Big thanks to all of you. I guess this topic can be closed, if no one else has a hint of what to do.
  2. I used the Default Settings, right after clearing CMOS (which is the only way to get out of the boot screen freeze thing)
  3. Well, after all the tests, everything ran fine, no errors, no messages..what can I do now?
  4. Okay, I'm going to do everything you said. Friday I will post my results. Thanks for now!!
  5. Since I can boot on Safe Mode, I'm guessing it's a driver issue? though I haven't installed anything that could interfere with that...
  6. Did not work, still freezing on boot screen, everything above 43 multiplier freezes it. The thing is, I had already made it stable to 4.5, then the other day, it wasn't stable anymore.. not even the "auto OC" function manages to boot the system... is there any other information I can provide? Thanks a lot for the help guys
  7. Here are my BIOS configs. btw, I tried bumping fixed Vcore up to 1.385 and it would still freeze on windows boot screen...
  8. but with Fixed mode I get constant voltage, even when idling, don't I?

  10. Hello, This is the first computer that I've built, and I'm having problems to overclock this processor ... I can make it stable at 4.3 with Vcore offset of -0015 and +0012 in the Additional Turbo Voltage. However, if I try to put 45 or even 44 in multi, windows does not load, it gets stuck on the screen that shows the Windows logo (windows 7 x64). Anyone have any tips, or can assist me in any way? I would really like to use 4.5GHz 24/7. Thank you!
